This role is responsible for overseeing the daily sales operations, driving performance, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with dealership objectives.
- Conduct regular training and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team.
- Monitor sales reports, trends, and market conditions to optimize results.
- Collaborate with the General Manager on inventory management, advertising, and promotional initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer guidelines, and state/federal regulations.
- Support customer retention by maintaining strong client relationships and assisting with escalated issues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive sales management or related leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of dealership operations, sales processes, and financing options.
- Proven ability to recruit, train, and develop successful sales teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data and drive results.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
