Overview:
Richmond Mitsubishi is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Sales Manager to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of success in automotive sales management, strong leadership abilities, and a customer-focused mindset. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily sales operations, driving performance, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with dealership objectives.

  • Conduct regular training and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team.

  • Monitor sales reports, trends, and market conditions to optimize results.

  • Collaborate with the General Manager on inventory management, advertising, and promotional initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer guidelines, and state/federal regulations.

  • Support customer retention by maintaining strong client relationships and assisting with escalated issues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive sales management or related leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of dealership operations, sales processes, and financing options.

  • Proven ability to recruit, train, and develop successful sales teams.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data and drive results.

  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
